Early Birds North - return to the speed of many fast legs

Sunday - back again after a while - usual early morning procedure and leaving 6:32 for a warmup ride to the start. Kind of grayish foggy humid slightly cool feeling with "just" 19C -- but the first diffuse rays of sun let it warm up soon.

Just a few riders by 7:17, but more were showing by time they went off -- did not counted, but around about 15-20 riders -- on the North Route.
Most the time at good steady pace around 38 km/h with exception of that one rider in yellow who needed to bump up the speed for just a few seconds of his pulling - however, no big deal for the birds, except he got behind towards the end himself o-)

Statement of the day - at a little into the ride: "That is a lot of work for a Sunday morning."

A short stop for coffee and water at the Cutchogue Deli before they flew back.

A even slightly faster pace back and sprint like finish as usual.

Back at Manorville Py meet another big group and returned together w J. and R.... good ride -- 129 km or about 80 mi :-)

Still not ride stats / speed distribution available from Garmin Connect :-(
